It has a set neck with the long tenon neck joint, which is what was used on the 50's Les Pauls it yields the best sustain. Pics:

The previous owner put a Gibson sticker on there, it can be removed, but I thought it was kind of cool, so I didn't.

What is that bridge? A Kahler? Was the body routed at all?

 

 

Yes it is a Kahler, no the guitar, was not routed in any way, a standard bridge will fit there without a mods needed as well, but I believe the guitar came stock with that bridge because it looks as old as everything else on the guitar.
