NOW ON EBAY

Got myself in a bit of money trouble...this one gets the least of play. So its the first to go.

I am not an expert on vintage guitars, nor am I a collector...I will tell all I know...

Guitar is in used shape...of course. I don't believe the tuners are original...I think they are still from the 70's but not the stock ones. I believe them to be from 75ish. Missing the trem bar. Has OHSC...latches are broken...one still works...has pieces of duct tape on it...I can get pics if needed. Pickups are missing the covers. I believe them to be original also with everything else. Guitar has a signature of someone, don't know who, but its there. Guitar plays awesome. Sounds great. I just prefer my teles more. Simply that, and at the moment I can't afford to keep all 3. Also, the neck/frets are in great shape as the guitar was (before I got it) sitting in a closet for 18 years.

I have a rough idea on its value...make an offer. I'm pretty tight for cash...so as long as you aren't low balling me...I'll probably take it.

I remember back in 1985 when you couldn't sell one of those for $25. Ever since Nirvana, they sell for retarded $$.

Anyways... I don't what what ballpark on the $$ you are even asking, but that thing is seriously hammered. Can never be factory restored, so will never fetch vintage $$. So whoever buys it, probably won't buy it for the investment, but to just play it, so ermm, I give ya $75 bucks for it :idk:

I replied to 2 threads, made offers on both. You call that {censored}ting, but I expect to be able to sell ANY vintage guitar I buy for at least what paid for it.

This guitar is {censored}ed up, and badly. Don't blame me for pointing that out.

Diatribe, it's worth way more than $75 - come on! I would prefer less "vintage mojo" and more originality and better cosmetic condition. I think it is priced fairly, but not motivationally, and that is the seller's prerogative. If he can get it, go for it.

KN, I wish you the best on the sale.

i never claimed this as vintage/collectors condition. it is a well loved/played guitar. i dont expect to fetch vintage money. :blah::blah:

also, everyone that has asked how much in pms, has said the price i'm looking for is fair.

I was using the vintage verbage only to say how *I* approached the guitar. Didn't mean to offend. Not knowing what you were asking, I was just left with :idk: you know?

I wish you luck selling it, really. I love the old mustangs.

Man I wish I had some $$$ to throw at this. I also have no idea what it's worth but I saw a similar condition '65 at GC a few years back that I thought was very reasonably priced at $500. Shoulda got that one. Good luck man.

yeah that would have been a steal. especially at the prices they are going for now.

Pretty guitars are nice if you're into looking at them hang on the wall while eating cheese and wine but beat up guitars are meant to be played and heard.

+1. bump for a nice guitar and a guy who seems to be alright. never dealt with him personally, but i enjoy his avatars and have only heard good things about him (and lots of it)
