It is a VERY popular mod among the Seymour Duncan Forum members http://www.seymourduncan.com/forum/index.php - do a search here ! It is basically a magnet swap ! They use Alnico 2 & 5 mag's respectively, and you just swap them to get the best of both worlds ! So yes, it is almost having both PU's in one ! (best of both worlds, so to speak !) Hope this helps !
