Members Teletypist Posted April 29, 2008 Members Share Posted April 29, 2008 TRADED LOCAL This was my go-to Tele sound axe for a decade (it's a '96). No excuses, no apologies, just lay down the trax. Hartley, in exchange for helping Leo with the electronics side of his biz, got to come up with Peavey versions of the Fender guitars. These nail the aura. The only change I made was to go with black Grover tuners, definitely more stable. Also have a black control plate and bridge - was gonna "black-out" the guitar, just haven't gotten around to it. What I'm looking for: classical or gypsy nylon string, jazz box, Schecter C1, 5-string bass. Could work a couple of $ either way.
