Members Dr. Scottie C
Weird huh?? Here's the deal... my favorite strings in the world are Danelectro Vintage. They feel like no other. After talking with Dano, I now know why. They are completely round, not flat at all, so the touch the frets unlike any other string I have ever played. ...Sadly, these are now discontinued. A guitar shop owner friend of mine was able to score me 50 packs of these, in 9 gauge, as seen here: http://cgi.ebay.com/DANELECTRO-9-GAUGE-VINTAGE-TONE-GUITAR-STRINGS_W0QQitemZ110242708571QQihZ001QQcategoryZ41433QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem While I love these strings, I dont know if I need 50.... I have just restrung all my guitars, and man are these great strings.... they just have that certain vintage tone that is hard to describe.... but anyway, If any of you would like to try a pack or 2 of these, I would be willing to trade you straight up for a pack of name brand electric strings you may have laying around....I prefer 9 gauge, but some 10's are fine. I want to keep 25-35 packs of these for myself, as, like I said...I think they are the best there is.... but I can part with some. Just let me know. Thanks!
