Guys, for the money there's not a better MIM Strat out there. If I had the $$$ this would be at my house right now. I built one of these out of ebay parts last year and it was awesome. Fender (IMO) never made a better neck than the one they put on this model. Pics don't do the Blizzard Pearl body justice, it's far more "pearly" than the pics might suggest. Here's a pic of mine with a chrome metal guard.

I used to own one but foolishly sold it for an Epiphone Casino. Now I want the blizzard back again!

Would you consider shipping it to Australia (Melbourne, 3189 to be exact)?? I've seen US based ebayers offering to send guitars to Australia from anything between $59 to $300. Obviously, if the cheapest shipping method you could find was more than $100, then i would have to decline on a $400 instrument. But if you could find a service that offers it for around the $50-60 mark, then i'd definately be interested :)

Edit: Here's 1 example: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Fender-Highway-One-Precesion-Bass-3-Tone-Sunburst_W0QQitemZ300224459134QQihZ020QQcategoryZ64401QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

They can send a Fender Bass (which is longer, larger and heavier than a strat) to Australia for $59.85, so i know it's possible. But then there's this company; http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Fender-Highway-One-Stratocaster-Upgrade-Guitar_W0QQitemZ350060271036QQihZ022QQcategoryZ4713QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem that wants to charge $225 to send a strat to Oz. I never understood the massive differences.

Anyways, if you can find me a good deal for postage, i'll definately consider this fine axe :)
