WTT: Gibson SG Classic for Gibson LP DC or SG Standard

I have a nearly new Gibson SG Classic that I'm having a hard time bonding with. I think P90s may not be for me.

I can ship it in the deluxe Gibson gig bag that it came with, or a Musician's Friend SG case.

I'd like to work out a trade for a Les Paul Double Cut Standard or Pro (possibly a Studio, but I really want the trap fretboard inlays). I'm not interested in the 'colored' models (green or blue, but I do like the red one) or the gray burst.

I would also be interested in a trade for a Gibson SG Standard in Heritage Cherry only.

Feel free to PM me or email me at morglan@aol.com

Thanks for looking!

tis sad that the P90s didn't tickle your pickle.... what kinda stuff you play?

or did you ever give any thought to changing the P90s? There are a few manufacturers that make P90 sized humbuckers....

oh and ....bump....

Don't get me wrong--I LOVE the guitar--it's got the lowest, fastest action I've ever seen on a guitar, fit & finish is perfect, it isn't neck heavy, and it's absolutely beautiful.

The P90s are a just more...'aggressive' than I like. Once over driven, it's a very tight, punchy sound - like when you hit a power chord it kicks you in the stomach.

It's not a bad thing, I guess I just prefer humbuckers.

I love the guitar, so I'm going to try to be patient and wait for a trade offer for what I really want to come along--right down to the color of the guitar.
