Members Guitarmiester Posted May 16, 2008 Members Posted May 16, 2008 I'm looking to sell my Peavey HP Signature. Nice guitar with a very fat sound, but I don't like the neck, it's too similar to a LP and I'm not much of a LP fan. I'm the original owner. There's not one dent or scratch on this guitar. $325 SHIPPED US buyers only. Any questions, feel free to ask. Here are some pictures I took with my phone...
Members rjmck4883 Posted May 16, 2008 Members Posted May 16, 2008 hey there nice guitar. But you're asking price is very high. This is the EX model, not the EXP. These go for 300 bucks from Musicians Friend or SamAsh. Not trying to be a downer, just trying to help you get a sale, so i would just consider significantly lowering your price. Good Luck! Rob
Members Guitarmiester Posted May 17, 2008 Author Members Posted May 17, 2008 Thanks for the heads up! Been a while since I bought this guitar and didn't remember the price. When I checked ebay to see current prices I guess I saw the EXP models and went from there. $250 SHIPPED to anyone who's interested.
Members Guitarmiester Posted May 22, 2008 Author Members Posted May 22, 2008 come with a case of some sort? Nah, the guitar didn't originally come with a case and the few cases I have are fitted for my other guitars. Sorry.
Members lndianScout Posted May 24, 2008 Members Posted May 24, 2008 now THIS is a Peavey HP Signature Select Custom Shop
Members Guitarmiester Posted May 28, 2008 Author Members Posted May 28, 2008 That's nice! It still looks to have a small neck and small frets, which is the main reason I'm selling mine.
Members torgeot Posted June 2, 2008 Members Posted June 2, 2008 Free bump for a great guy to deal with. Legacy sounds great, I re-tubed and changed the greenbacks out for some g12-50's I had around.
Members Guitarmiester Posted June 3, 2008 Author Members Posted June 3, 2008 Glad you're liking the Legacy! I was going to email you the other day to see if you're working it into you gigging setup. How does it sound with the new speakers compared to the greenbacks?
Members torgeot Posted June 3, 2008 Members Posted June 3, 2008 Still haven't used it live, the smaller clubs haven't called us, but good news is the bigger ones are! It's much brighter with the g12-50's. I loved the amp with the GB's but wasn't cutting through the other guitar player, I put in the 50's and put 2 GB's in my 4x12 along with 2 50 and it's got a great mix now. BUMP again for a guy to trust!
Members Guitarmiester Posted June 8, 2008 Author Members Posted June 8, 2008 I'm still surprised you had trouble cutting through in 100 watt mode, but that does make sense due to the Legacy being a dark sounding amp. Glad you're liking it!
