Members BleedingEdge
This guitar sounds great. It's a Nashville Custom Shop - Gibson's highest end ES-335 - not a very common model, and they don't make very many of these. I just got it a couple of months ago from Saul at Centre City, and I upgraded the pots with RS (Gibsons were underspec'd), the caps with Luxe Bumblebees, the bridge/studs/tailpiece with Pigtail, and the guitar was just professionally set up with Snake Oil Vintage 10-46 strings. I normally swap out pickups for WCRs but not in this case - the Classic 57s sound too good - do they all sound this good? I have all the original Gibson parts and they will be sent along with the guitar. As will all the case candy that I received with the guitar. Weighs just 8.3 lbs - increasingly these are trending closer to 9 lbs anymore. I paid over $4400 for it, and the upgrades are over $600 - over $400 for the Pigtail parts alone. It's still in showroom condition, 9.9 out of 10, has only been played for 1-2 hours. It's like getting a new Gibson, fully upgraded, at a big discount. Asking $3850 shipped and insured, split Paypal. Would consider trades and partial trades. I'm more of a metal guy, and my collection got way too vintagey lately. It's the one on the right:
