Members gbuzz
Still a nice guitar....hmmm bolt ons....I guess I should say Stratocaster. SRV played a bolt on. But, I agree....tone....95% fingers, 3 % attitude, 2% construction.

Members madler
Whoa, I didn't make that sweeping generalization, definitely not all LTD neck-throughs are superior to all ESP bolt-ons. I'm just saying that there isn't a giant difference in quality or sound between the higher-end Korean made 1000 models and some of the cheaper Japanese made ESP standards like the M-II maple bolt-on. Play an mh-1000 and then play a horizon II fr and honestly tell me you can feel/hear an $800 price difference. The hardware is almost identical, the woods are almost identical (aside from the ebony fretboard). These are both factory guitars, they don't start hand selecting woods until the custom series. Some have claimed they cheaped out on the LTD tone/vol pots, but I haven't seen pics/proof to compare. If that's really a big concern, install some CTS pots for $20. You're mainly paying for a slightly thicker finish, ebony board (on some models) and an ESP logo. Youre saying LTD neck-thrus are superior to ESP bolt-ons, but the only reason you say is thicker tone and more sustain. ESP standards have quality all over the LTDs
Members madler
Someones panties are in a bunch. lol And yes, HC has been around since '95. The internet however has only been around since last year when your mom gave you the AOL dialup CD. Dude who gives a {censored}, quit sitting on your ass at 4AM (it is 4 am at this hour, is it not?) criticizing a type of guitar because of its neck joint ON THE INTERNET. inbefore butthurt internet tough guy wait, you've been here since 1996? Has the internet even been around that long
Members CrystalLake
Youre missing my whole point. You might say its tone and sustainability that makes an LTD deluxe neck thru better than a ESP Standard bolt-on, but Im saying its QUALITY. ESP has superior quality than any LTD. Do some research on the ESP factories, then the the LTD factories. Then come back with some answers please.
