Members qballman
1987 Gibson SG Reissue Heritage Cherry Finish. This was before they called it a "61 reissue and then '62 reissue. Extremely clean condition. Near mint with some tarnishing of the nickle hardware, and very minor player marks. With the exception of the knobs, it's 100% original. I don't know why it has 4 knobs that say "Volume". Should have 2 vol, and 2 tone obviously. New knobs are available, and would look better than what's on there now. Original Patent number pickups. These might be Tim Shaw PAF's. According to info I gathered on the internet, Shaw's did not have an ink stamp on the bottom in the '85-'87 era. No breaks, no repairs. Some minor checking along the binding which is normal for older Gibson's. No fret wear. All 4 pots date to late 1986. No mods or alterations. Includes the original Protector case. One piece mahogany body, one piece neck, very dark rosewood fingerboard. Check out pictures here: http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/msg/731892625.htmlPlease email me at: johnquinn@cinram.com & jqballer1@yahoo.comI would sell for $1,600, or trade for another Gibson or PRS. Open to other USA trades as well.
