First, the Guitar: It's the new 08 model with the newly improved Fender Case. It's three-color sunburst with rosewood fretboard. I can provide pics to your email if needed but it looks exactly like this one (link below). I bought it new from my local Fender Dealer in March of 08. Currently I have a set of Fralin Vintage Hot's in the neck and middle with a SP43 in the Bridge. I've had lots of different pickup combinations and I always come back to Fralin's and this is my favorite with the SP 43 in the Bridge. It has the output of a P-90 with pure vintage tone's in the neck and middle. I've got $1250 in the guitar as it is. I will give you the choice of the guitar as is with Fralins installed; or, stock with the original pups back in and I keep the fralins. As is, with Fralins = $975.00Stock, with Originals = $850.00 As to condition: the guitar has only been out of the house 3 - 4 times for a jam session with some friends. No one has ever held the guitar buy me and it's been in a smoke free environment. There is only very minimal, light signs of use. No chips, dents scrapes or the like. There were two on the shelf and Iplayed both and chose this one as it sounded a tad better to my ears. Upgrades: I purchased and installed Tungsol Preamp Tubes and JJTesla Power amp tubes. The upgrade was around $150 or so. I also swapped out the stock speaker for a Celestion Greenback speaker which is my favorite electric amp speaker for Strat. It has a very warm, woody tone to it with slightly earlier breakup but can still be pristine clean also. The cost of the speaker was $100. The Pricing? Same as with the Guitar. DRRI as is with upgrades = $975.00DRRI stock = & $775 I would consider a healthy price drop if you want both together.
