Members Teletypist
Great guitar, excellent condition - but I gotta own up that I'm just a Tele guy at heart. 2002 ESP LTD KH-602 Kirk Hammett Signature Series Guitar: * Neck-thru-body construction* Maple body* 3-piece maple neck* Extra-thin U-shaped neck* 25.5" scale* Rosewood fingerboard* Kirk Hammett design inlays* 42mm nut width* Extra-thin U neck contour* 24 extra-jumbo frets* EMG-81 bridge and EMG-60 neck active humbuckers* Real Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo bridge* Locking nut* ESP tuners* 2 volume, tone, and 3-way switching controls* Black hardware This is the original version of this model. All maple neck and body, the newer ones have maple necks but an alder body. It's a fairly heavy guitar, about 8.5 Lbs, but the sustain on this is so much better. Mine currently has the EMG 81/60 pickups in it, originally it came with a pair of 81s. I can change it back if you prefer. Overall condition is very good: no breaks, chips or scars. Plays and sounds great. Comes with the trem bar and ESP OHSC, also in very good condition. Pix here: http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/gg46/teletypist/ESP%20Ltd%20KH-602/ Trade only, MIA Tele only. Maybe non-Fender - but still MIA.Having said that - there are some Jacksons that are calling out to me.
Members Teletypist
To answer some questions: With this pup pair you'd be surprised as to how versatile this baby is. (As a gag I took it to a Blues gig. Nobody even mentioned it ) Sure, up close you see the fretmarkers, but your audience just gets the tone. This is a $1K guitar. And you won't have to make excuses for it. Added to the trade list: I can use a backup to my Classical guitar, or a backup to the XXX stack.
