Members MisterTV
** PRICE DROP ** Well-preserved example of the very early Japanese-made Martin Sigma line, circa 1971-75. Model GCR-7... Grand Concert Rosewood. Spruce top, rosewood back and sides, adjustable saddle in a rosewood bridge. Paper label, early Greek Sigma headstock. Action at the 12th fret on the low E is approx. 3/16" -so on the high end of what most might consider a "normal" range. Frets are immaculate. Plays nice and sounds even better - a nice chimey sound in a little package. $275 shipped and PayPaled. Comes with chipboard case.

Members Jon Hiller
A friend of mine has one of these, although his is a year or three newer, it has the more "Martin" looking Sigma logo on it. Nice guitar, someone should snap this up.
Members MisterTV
Thanks Jon - in pristine shape these Sigmas can fetch $400... my price reflects the higher action, which may indicate the need for a simple setup, or it might be on the verge of needing a neck reset. Could be a nice score for someone with more DIY skills than me (meaning more than zero!).
Members billy budapest
Weren't the early Sigmas with the Greek letter headstock made by Tokai?
Members MisterTV
Weren't the early Sigmas with the Greek letter headstock made by Tokai? I know the early Sigma electrics we're made by Tokai... not sure about the acoustics, though. If it makes someone buy, then I'll guess "yes"!
