Members emcrae
I originally bought this Baby Taylor (new) for my daughter but she lost interest and never played it so it's basically gone unplayed. I am a luthier by trade and I did a complete setup on this guitar when I first got it. Leveled/crowned/polished frets and lowered action. It plays and sounds very nice. Comes with original Taylor gigbag. $225 plus shipping.
Members GuitarAl96
looking for any trades?
Members emcrae
Sorry..not really interested in trades. Between my personal guitars and my customs that I use for show/demo models, I have around 21 in the house now and I REALLY need to thin the herd. Members jackajesusfreak
Is that Mahogany top and Sapele side wood combination?
Members emcrae
That's correct. Model BT2. Mahogany top, Sapele back and sides, mahogany neck.
Members jackajesusfreak
Is there a 200 dollar significant difference between the baby and big baby?
Members jackajesusfreak
Would like to have a Taylor but could never give in to their prices compared to Martin pound for pound. Maybe a Baby is the way to go.
Members emcrae
The construction of both models is basically the same. The main differences would be scale length, of course, and the fact that the Big Baby has a spruce top rather than mahogony. The BT2 is a great travel guitar and it's also a handy little guitar to have around and grab quick to sit down and write/compose. It has quite a few practical uses.
