Members AtomHeartMother
Tech 21 Trademark 30 - $200 shipped I'm clearing out some space, so this one is next to go. It is in mint condition with the original box and all the paperwork. It's like brand new aside from some small marks on the metal part of the handle. These are the perfect bedroom/recording amps. Although they're solid state, you'd swear that it's a tube amp. Everytime I play it, I feel the urge to check the back of the amp for tubes. Tech 21 really nailed the tube emulation that so many other amps claim to have. If you're into the super glassy and bright vintage Fender tweed tones, this amp has got it. I also really like the fatter, thicker cleans on the Marshall model. The overdrive on the Fender and Marshall channels sound fantastic as well especially when you get the volume up a bit. I've never used the Mesa channel, but I hear it's great as well. This is the best tube tone you're going to get without tubes. The reverb actually sounds quite good for a small amp as well. For $200, you might as well save $90 and get an amp that's basically just as new as a new one.
