Members angrynerdrock Posted October 8, 2006 Members Posted October 8, 2006 Alright folks, I hate to do this, but I need more bite to my sound, and don't have the money to buy a new amp. As listed above, I have a 1964 Fender Bandmaster Head. It is a 40W amp, all-tube, and the preferred cabinet resistance is 4 Ohms, though it can safely accept 2 or 8 Ohms. As I said, I have very little money, and am also short on time, as I have a lot about to happen with my band and not enough time to sell my current amp and buy a new one separately. Thus, I am only looking to trade straight up for a high-gain amp. Dare I say 5150 or similar? Tube amps only. I think this would be a fair trade if someone else has an amp that's too angry, and they're looking for something cleaner and warmer. I live in Tucson, AZ and would prefer to meet up with any person interested in trading, so that we can both be sure that we're making the right decision. If you aren't near enough to meet up with me, I am still interested in hearing from you. Thanks,Blake
Members boganvilla Posted October 10, 2006 Members Posted October 10, 2006 I used to have that same head.It had a great sound.I had mine hopped up though.I wanted a Laney and the dealer only wanted a little cash and the head and the deal was complete.Good luck on the trade.
Members tinkercity Posted October 10, 2006 Members Posted October 10, 2006 Do you just have the head? I have a Fender Concert II "Rivera Designed" 1x12 combo... http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1396554 Let me know...
Members angrynerdrock Posted October 10, 2006 Author Members Posted October 10, 2006 I am only selling the head. I don't own the matching cab. Now, that answer may change your opinion, but were you thinking of a straight-up trade? Also, where are you located?
