Paid immediately on August 5 through PayPal. He never shipped and won't respond to any correspondence. I am having to file a claim with PayPal to get my money back. PayPal has given him until Aug 31 to respond to my claim. It also appears that possibly he made false claims about the amplifier when he placed the ad. Had to get the police involved to make him cough up the amplifier. He either doesn't have enough in the account or closed his PayPal account so my PP claim failed. Members whiteyanderson Posted September 4, 2008 Members Share Posted September 4, 2008 bought an orange rockerverb 50 from guitar60. was my first deal here and i checked his ebay feedback which was 100%. he gave me time to cough up the $$ (wasn't too long though) and really packed the thing like a pro. not only that, it was IMPOSSIBLE to tell that the head had ever been used. seriously, the tags were still intact and the tubes were sparkly clean it was amazing! i was shocked at how pristine the head was, it still had that new orange smell...yum! Attempted to trade my '67 Showman head for an Engl screamer combo back in June, haven't received anything, including a tracking number he supposedly lost. orenlevy is the name used in several different email addresses he has corresponded with. I was told several times I would have my amp returned and then a week later no response to my emails. Have contacted him several times and the story keeps changing. They contacted the police in the town where the theif lived and the police there paid him a visit. My amp was shipped the next day. File a police report locally and have them take care of it.
