Members daveyank Posted January 12, 2009 Members Posted January 12, 2009 FOR SALE OR TRADE (PARTIAL/FULL) I'm downsizing to lower wattage/volume gear and am therefore selling my Mesa. Best amp I have ever owned, hands down. I had it serviced about 3 years ago and have probably put less than 8 hours on it since then. It sits in our guest room with the cover over it at all times. For complete details on the Maverick (which is no longer in production), see http://www.mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/Out_of%20_Production/Maverick/maverick.html Mine is the 35w - 2x12 combo amp. The speakers are Celestion Vintage 30's which I love. Manual, channel footswitch, and original cover are also included. The cover has some wear and tear but still protects the amp as it should. I've kept the cover on whenever I'm not playing it. The amp itself has a few small marks here and there, but overall I'd put the condition at 9.5/10. It's a really nice looking outfit. I'm setting my price at $900 + CONUS shipping. PM me if interested. This is more of a feeler than anything since I don't need to sell it, but maybe someone out there is looking for a Maverick. Fantastic amp, just too loud for my needs these days.
Members mrandolph Posted January 12, 2009 Members Posted January 12, 2009 bump for a great amp, used to play w/ a kid who had this exact amp w/ an american standard strat. Sounded beautiful
Members 1972guitars Posted January 12, 2009 Members Posted January 12, 2009 Interested in a PRS CE24 guitar for Trade?
Members daveyank Posted January 13, 2009 Author Members Posted January 13, 2009 Nice PRS but am looking more along the lines of cash alone or cash + cheap Tele.
Members 1972guitars Posted January 13, 2009 Members Posted January 13, 2009 Thanks anyways:) Are you looking for a Mesa Heartbreaker Combo it is adjustable to 60 watts and 100?
Members 1972guitars Posted January 13, 2009 Members Posted January 13, 2009 I didnt notice the Maverick was 35 watts:) Sorry, I thought it was 100 watts.
Members daveyank Posted January 13, 2009 Author Members Posted January 13, 2009 Yeah funny that 35 watts is too much for me at this point. Little kids who take naps don't mix with loud amps. :-)
Members daveyank Posted January 14, 2009 Author Members Posted January 14, 2009 Bump. Some nice trade offers coming in, but the first one with cash takes it.
Members VH5150 Posted January 14, 2009 Members Posted January 14, 2009 Too bad your not in grand rapids mi i'd buy it...i use to have the 4x10
Members rbh Posted January 21, 2009 Members Posted January 21, 2009 Would you consider a trade for a Mesa Blue Angel 1x12" combo?
Members daveyank Posted January 21, 2009 Author Members Posted January 21, 2009 Thanks for the offer rbh. I love the Mesa's but am wanting to try something different for a while. Maybe more VOX, Budda, etc.
Members daveyank Posted January 23, 2009 Author Members Posted January 23, 2009 Bump. I'm willing to sell without the Vintage 30's for a reduced price, if interested. I have a cab in the works.
Members daveyank Posted January 25, 2009 Author Members Posted January 25, 2009 Bump. Partial trade involving 1x12 or 2x12 cab might be of interest.
Members daveyank Posted January 26, 2009 Author Members Posted January 26, 2009 Daily bump. If anyone is Minnesota I can get this amp to you shipping-free. Trades as mentioned are cool too. I've had some good success on trades lately. Looking for Vox, Budda, Badcat, Savage, etc. Specifically low wattage heads, small cabs, or low wattage combos. LOW WATTAGE.

Members daveyank Posted February 2, 2009 Author Members Posted February 2, 2009 Thanks guys. Two very different, very colorful channels on this thing. Dang now I'm starting to think about keeping it.
Members daveyank Posted February 17, 2009 Author Members Posted February 17, 2009 BTT. This amp sounds amazing with my Tele. Just TOO amazing for my neighbors.
