Members The Pro
Cool - Creative Labs finally updated the Prodikeys to USB! It was previously only available for use with a PS/2 port. The keyboard is velocity-sensitive too (the music one, not the QWERTY of course). For noodling around and basic programming this looks like a handy toy. I thought that was a retractable music keyboard at first but not so... a wrist-rest cover goes over the music keys when not in use. CL is calling this the "Prodikeys PC-MIDI" but it has no MIDI out, just a USB cable.

And... all keys in the music keyboard area have to be pressed twice (double-click) to activate the corresponding sound for each note. For ease of use, you can point a patch with the mouse and then click the note key, so you can play one diferent patch for each key pressed. Just need some practice to become faster.
