Members jstaley
I picked up a mij Diastone acoustic SF 118, not long ago and really love it. Diastone also made ukes and I would love to pick one up to add to the collection. I know they are super rare but if anyone has one out there I'd like to take it off your hands. Members hbarton
I 've heard and read some really good things about the Diastone guitars and ukes. From what I read the ukes and guitars are really good Martin copies and your right they're extremely rare. Would you consider selling the acoustic. Members jstaley
I would consider any offer. It's a solid top with mahogany back and sides and is in great shape for a guitar that is about 35 to 40 years old. Info about Diastone is hard to find. What I found is, made in Japan in 60's and 70's high quality copies of Martin and Gibson.

Although there is very little about them on line. They are highly collectible. The Number 11 models being the crowning jewel and could easily fetch $200 to $450 depending on condition." Diastone apparently also made guitars. The company seems to have gone out of business somewhere in the early 1970s....or may have been taken over by Takamine...
