Members C_G_F
if you're in standard.. its like this e b g d a E a 1/2 step is just one fret difference a whole step is 2 fret distances 1 and 1/2 steps is 3 frets down... so drop them all by 3 frets..it'll be this db Ab E B Gb Db (someone check that for typos) it *doesnt* matter how many times you twist your tuning pegs....(different tuners have different gear ratios) so plug into your tuner and drop drop drop. you should tune below pitch and then tune up to pitch (so the strings dont go slack after tuning) do you have a floyd or similar bridge? if so..you'll need to adjust that... you'll probably hvae to set some intonation too just some suggestions CGF

Hahaha.haa... oh I'm sorry. That just, I found that very silly. As noted above, the amount of times you turn a tuning peg has nothing to do with the actual note you're going for. Based upon a number of factors: -Not all tuning pegs have the same gear ratio (1:12 or 1:16 etc.)- that means 12 turns of the knob for one full turn of the peg. -varying string gauge -scale length to name a few.
