Members Terje Posted August 27, 2003 Members Posted August 27, 2003 There's a course in reading music notation that I could attaend this fall. It'll cost me some moeny but it's not really expensive. Compared it to any gear i might buy and it's cheap. The idea of the course is to learn how to read better, mainly for singers, so you can read music off the page. This is of course also a great help if you write. I need to get better at both. So what do you say, should I take this course? Or is this just me being lazy again, taking a course instead of doing what I know I should do, just sit at home practicing reading and writing
Members The Dog Boy Posted August 27, 2003 Members Posted August 27, 2003 Take the course....I have been playing for twenty years, and I am SURE that I need to take a reading course...it can never hurt! I was thinking about it when I read this thread.....now I definitely want to take a course.....how could we even think of comparing what you can gain musically from being able to sight-read to buying gear?!?!? .....I am going to start looking around....thanks for the inspiration:D

Take the course, then go home and practice!
