Members edeltorus Posted October 28, 2003 Members Posted October 28, 2003 Somehow I like tango. I can't really describe what I like about it. Maybe it's the strong "dominant" kind of melodies that go along with the music, or the strong harmonies (something that I find in all kinds of music that I listen to). But I don't have any clue how to play such music, or where to find some sheet-music ect. I think the jazz-guys here know a bit better because the best tango music I have heared where recordings from jazz-players. Did anyone knows a bit about that kind of music? What harmonies are going on. What rythm? How the players create so much tension in their melodies... Anything would be interesting for me. Thanks, Nils
Members zaragemca Posted October 28, 2003 Members Posted October 28, 2003 I would disagree the best Tango Music was recorded by Don Aspiazu Band(Cuban) with the king of Tango, Carlos Gardel.(1930's).
