does anyone know of downloadable jammin type rhythm tracks ?

generic rock/metal/blues progressions or actual songs are all fine.

looking to develope my weak lead improv skills and to put into practice different scales, thanks all

I would really recommend getting a sequencer on your computer (fruityloops costs something like 40$ US).

 

that way you can learn about composition, then loop a song and play over top to your hearts content, full music workout.

 

if I had hosting I would post some of my backing tracks.
