Members lazaraga Posted June 6, 2004 Members Posted June 6, 2004 that is the last thing one would need a teacher for. just jam along with some blues albums. start with "hoodoo man blues" by junior wells and buddy guy (delmark records). what the hell is "advanced blues" anyway? peace
Members royboy Posted June 6, 2004 Author Members Posted June 6, 2004 I know all about that, but when you kinda get stuck in a box ( (playing the same predictable solos )and want to get some jazz phrasings and 'alternative chords going' and integrated into your current thing- a teacher can many times get you " out of the box" and into different direction better than just trying to get there yourself. Willing to spend the bucks and time to see if it's a viable alternative. r
