Members CrazyFool Posted September 23, 2004 Members Posted September 23, 2004 Anyone ever try learning this by feel rather than the traditional gradual increase in bpm method? I have been trying this and I have been making leaps in my ability, whereas I was not making much progress before.I wonder if, just like the right brain/left brain (I regard as more of a spectrum) thing in learning, we all have a predisposition as to how to recieve musical knowledge best? I am also very much a by ear player. Perhaps this is worthy of examination by musical instructors.

If you mean that you're not pushing too hard and are waiting until everything feels good and relaxed, then I'm for it. Just be sure you're keeping it clean.
