to play bluegrass/country style guitar. Along the lines of Brent Mason, all the guys in the Hellecasters, Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanuel. Maybe you can suggest more songs by these guys as I haven't heard a vast amount and some different people but hopefully I've given you a good enough idea.

I'm currently a rock/blues hack (I know a fair bit of theory) and can play rather well and would love to get into this style and hopefully as well as learning it I'll be able to pick a million times better.

I'm looking at these videos/dvd's right now and jsut wondered if anyone's had any experience with them if not please suggest some.

Also what could I look into for jazz ? I like Joe Pass, any suggestions for videos/dvd's ? This is my 2nd option so please suggest the country/bluegrass stuff first :)

Thanks

The second two are good. Don't know about the first one.

As far as jazz videos, Robben Ford has a couple great ones, Joe Pass has one (possibly out of print), Emily Remler had a great one.

Another country DVD to get is Johnny Hiland. Smokin' player!
