Members cre8ivjay Posted February 15, 2005 Members Posted February 15, 2005 Hey all, While my strength is rythym, I play the role of lead guitarist in my band and other than making stabs at where I might be able to throw a simple blues scale, I suck. I know next to nothing about music theory and thick books bore me to death. Without sounding like a cad who is trying to learn how to be a better lead guitarist on the fly, are there online resources or books I can read that offer an "idiot's" guide to lead guitar? Thanks! cre8.

Members slimjimjerky5 Posted February 17, 2005 Members Posted February 17, 2005 no no, the worst lead guitar players are the ones that are completely oblivious to their awfulness and somehow developed a confidence like their Jimi's reincarnation.
