Members kyoun1e Posted March 16, 2005 Members Posted March 16, 2005 I've been running over the same ol' scales for a while now and I was wondering if there was some kind of rigorous practice routine that somebody would recommend? I'm thinking if I spent 30 minutes per day on some specific excersices this would help vs just playing randomly. Any good resources? I have a T. Stetinia book and I've pretty much taken all I can from that...and now it's old. Need to mix it up with something new that can challenge me and force me to do something different. Anyone? Thanks. KY
Members Auggie Doggie Posted March 16, 2005 Members Posted March 16, 2005 I have done a series on developing speed (and general technical stuff) here in the Lesson Loft. It's got 15 parts thus far (the newest being added yesterday). The first 8 threads had their attachments corrupted, so I uploaded to another thread. Here's a list of the actual threads: http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=3095406&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending And here's the thread where I re-uploaded the older pdf files: http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=833603 Also, and please forgive the shameless plug, you may want to check out my first book, 'Raising the Barre'. http://www.raisingthebarre.com/Barre.htm
