I have some tabs that look pretty accurate, but I'm wondering if theres a video where you can see John F. play the intro. I'm basically wondering what the best way to finger the 3rd and fourth bar of the song is.

A barr chord helps some, but its mostly the hammer on fingering thats bothering me. I could make it much more simple by not hitting the note that goes with the 5th string, 4th fret but I'll take a bit of pain to play it the right way =)

Btw, is there a lot of good closeups of John F. playing the guitar in that dvd? Or why is it you recommended it?

There are some good close ups. If I remember correctly, he sits on the edge of the stage for the intro, and there are some pretty good shots. All in all it's a great DVD if you are a Peppers fan.

You can also play the intro with a capo on 2 which would free up a finger.
