Members LDF Posted September 6, 2005 Members Posted September 6, 2005 I need to know the name of that one piano number that everyone learns when they're starting out. You know the one, it begins with D C# D C# D C# then moves into chords. The whole thing sounds like eigth notes. I'm looking not because I want to learn piano (though it would be nice), but because I want to find a guitar version or maybe devise one myself. Thanks for any help:)

The same could be said for the Jaws theme, except the notes are much lower. I remember playing it in 6th grade on my sax; Cb C Cb C Cb C. SCARY!!
Members iop Posted September 12, 2005 Members Posted September 12, 2005 Jaws Theme Actually these two notes played like you describe is also found in the minor key Cantata and Fugue by Bach. It was written for organ. You can hear it being played usually around Halloween time or in Horror flicks, if its what I think you are stating.
Members Fill Posted September 12, 2005 Members Posted September 12, 2005 The book Classical Masterpieces for Guitar has that song (Fur Elise) written in both standard notation and guitar tab.
