Members simeon Posted December 2, 2005 Members Posted December 2, 2005 play a note or chord and while it's ringing, ding the end of your tremolo arm, or pull up on it slightly and let it go the trem should vibrate rapidly back and forth, causing the note or chord to "flutter" works better with floyd rose type trems, rather than fender type ones, for some reason... sim
Members MisterBulbous Posted December 6, 2005 Members Posted December 6, 2005 On my floyd, it helps if the whammy bar is pointing towards the "butt" end of the guitar. Seems to have more balance or something. I usually get the flutter if I pound on the body of the guitar with the palm of my hand.
