Has anyone used Pentatonic or Chord Khancepts? Would you recommend them?

i can recommend the chord one - everything from interesting blues to gospel voicings to quartal chords and beyond. the cd is a bit cheesy sounding, but it's all good information.

I read Pentatonic Khancepts.

It's good. Intermediate to advanced level. You should already know major scale and modes, pentatonics, etc. first or you won't know what he's talking about.

The backing CD has some good tracks to jam over.

Frank Gambale's Technique Books I & II are also very good.

I think Gambale's are easier to understand but require you to have a fair knowledge of scales & chords also.
