My 'Speed' series, collected in 1 thread

I've been asked to combine the links to my 'speed' series into one place, and I finally got around to it.

***NOTICE***

Every time HC upgrades the forum software, my pdf attachments get ruined. So, even though the lesson threads are intact, the downloads are not. You can find them (parts 1-17) here:

I've been reading through some of this, haven't had a chance to play any yet though. Looks like a lot of good stuff to practice...so THIS is Raising The Bar?

Cool, I know we've ran into each other on some other site and I've always heard great things about your book(s).

Aren't you also the guy who teaches about relaxation while playing? I thought that was you also.

I'm on vacation next week and plan on doing quite a bit of playing. I'll definitely throw some of these into my warm up/practice routine.

Thanks!

Actually, this is NOT stuff from Raising the Barre. Well, one of them is (a Czerny etude).
:p

The stuff in my 'speed' series is much more foundational in nature. Much of it will become part of another book that I've slowly been working on for ages, one designed as preparation for (and companion to) RTB and some of my other books.

You're probably thinking of someone else, though I do encourage people to relax while playing.

Hope you find them useful! :)

You'd have to ask a moderator to do that. Since there isn't one for this forum specifically, I think Mr. Lehman or Mr. Anderton would be the ones to ask.

But, short of a sticky, a good old-fashioned *bump* every now and again will do the trick. :D

This is going to hurt my brain. Awesome!!

Auggie, you rule so damn hard!!! I printed a copy of each lesson/etude out for me and my rythym guitar player and its as thick as a book. Very few people would go to that length to do something this cool for free. Thank you!

P.S. Mods, this thing has to be made a sticky.
