"To tremble" in Italian it seems. The tremolo could go up and down in volume. The best example of the tremolo, imo, is Tarrega's "Recuerdos De Alhambra".Check out: www.peperomero.com There's a "Video and Recordings" section with a clip of him doing that classic.:jb
