Members sethfire Posted March 4, 2006 Members Posted March 4, 2006 could someone give me an example of how to play lead in a major key over a progression in a minor key?
Members red|dragon Posted March 4, 2006 Members Posted March 4, 2006 what the hell are you talking about...? Try this: Pick any Minor chord. Let's pick Cmin. You can play: Bb major scale or Eb major scale or Ab major scale They all fit on top of that minor chord, but each have a different sound. Experiment with them also. There are tons of things you can play on a minor chord, but those are the major scales.
