Members riffpowers Posted June 5, 2006 Members Posted June 5, 2006 Hi guys I'mn looking to brush up on my scales. Most of my licks are around the blues and pentatonic scales, but I'd like to learn a few more scales to add to my repertoire.I'd also like to know all the different scale positions up the fretboard. Is there anything out there I can use??

Members Y4RUH8? You can get a very good torrent if you search off of: www. torrentspy.com and its got a built in scale tool in it. I already know how to form scale structures, so using the scale tool (which shows a diagram of the fret board) I can tab out scales in 4-5 positions and then play it out. It helps alot more when you tab it out because youre being forced into memorizing the positions. Also if you dont want a neat tab player, or you just happen to be a minimalist, just search for scale tool on google, and you can get a pretty basic , but comprehensive scale generator.
