Members oston Posted July 12, 2006 Members Posted July 12, 2006 The title just about gave it away, but I am hoping someone can send me in the right direction with songs to use that have good solid rhythms to practice pentatonic scales with. I am not looking to do the actual solo's of the songs, just want to use the rhythm to practice the scales. And hoping to find ones in diffrent keys. Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm..well if you like blues then any Jimmy Reed "Greatest Hits" CD would work pretty good. Lots of solid I-IV-V's on his tunes. Fun to jam around on.
Members UnderTheGroove Posted July 15, 2006 Members Posted July 15, 2006 You could try my Jam Tracks disc. It has 41 different backing tracks arranged by the scale type used. If you use it on your PC you will be able to see the scale patterns (including the pentatonics) that can be used with the tracks.
