I think this was in Guitar Player many years ago. The magical solution? Lift. The guy made it sound like cake but essentially you need lightning technique. I just use silicone. You still have to lift somewhat and mute as much a possible. Aaannd stuff that's fingered to squeak will still squeak.
On that thought maybe you could refinger or even rewrite squeaky passages. ?

When recording? Experiment with the microphone placement maybe.. or use half-round or flatwound strings. Try some fast fret or a similar type product. Practise.. look at your fret -hand technique and maybe choose different positions to play a passage if nothing else works

I get rid of squeak by keeping strings on longer. When they're new they are very squeaky.

I've also found, and this doesn't make sense, that if you put more pressure on the strings with your fretting hand , you break through the squeaking region. It is like the squeak region is an envelope; very light fingering, less squeak, very hard fingering, less squeak, too.

Don't worry about it. Sometimes you'll squeak, but you'll get better. I was just listening to "Beyond the Missouri Sky" and you hear Pat's finger's squeak. It doesn't detract at all from the performance.
