If not, did you just practice it really slow then work up to the speed at which it's at. I can play the rest of the song, and this has been bugging me for awhile.

Members LlamaGuy Posted March 2, 2007 Members Posted March 2, 2007 I pretty much play that whole song downpicked, but I learned to play the guitar weirdly and all I did for the first year was downpick so as you can imagine I'm preeety fast as downpicking. In the end, it just boils down to practice. I used to play Master of Puppets every day, and it paid off.

Everything is always downstrokes with us, unless its physically impossible to play that way."This includes Battery. Just kidding.
