Members mhoward Posted March 18, 2007 Members Posted March 18, 2007 I mentioned TrueFire.com in this post. They sell a lot of instructional videos that usually are accompanied by PDF charts and often powertab as well, with backing tracks. The videos range from teaching you songs to teaching riffs to serious music theory. You can also subscribe to unlimited online monthly usage of their lessons, or just buy the DVDs. The only disappointing thing for me is that they have almost no activity on their forums, and I would have liked threads on specific lessons. Harmony Central is much better.
Members blkbelt65 Posted March 20, 2007 Members Posted March 20, 2007 how about the learn & master guitar set of DVD's?
Members Pepsi Posted March 20, 2007 Members Posted March 20, 2007 I second Truefire instructional vids. Great stuff:thu:
Members Nephilim-777 Posted March 27, 2007 Members Posted March 27, 2007 I have heard that this one of the best course available. http://www.learnandmasterguitar.com/index.htm Not cheap, but I've heard of no one that purchased it and didn't like it. I hear that its best value for beginners, complete with theory and high in production value. I personally haven't seen it myself.
