Members Dimebag666 Posted April 6, 2007 Members Posted April 6, 2007 I've found that www.shredacademy.com is a really good resource with video lessons, articles and forums. Also out of the recomendations I got here I picked up troy stetina's speed mechanics for lead guitar which is DEFINATELY worth checking out.Hope that helps.
Members bgator Posted April 6, 2007 Members Posted April 6, 2007 I'd find a teacher and start taking lessons. I was self-taught (i.e., guitar magazines, books, Internet, etc...) for about five years and started taking lessons about a year and a half ago. I've made far more progress in that time than I ever did on my own.
