Hi,

I like Troy Stetina's guitar methods a lot, the ones I know and have been using so far are Metal Rhythm guitar vol.1&2, Metal Lead guitar vol.1&2 as well as Speed mechanics for Lead guitar.

Anybody of you have his Thrash guitar method?

What is it like? Is it aimed at beginners or is it more advanced?

I'm asking because I might be interested in getting it.

It's for beginners. If you have been through the other 4 you don't really need it. My son has it and the others. They are excellent books.

Thanks !:thu:

does it cover Thrash lead playing, too?

I mean I have been working on the other 4 books, but I still can't play all the solo's off Lead guiar volume 2 at original speed (and I doubt I ever will, to be honest).

It has 6 songs in it but doesn't cover soloing per se. The last song Megadirt is 196bpm with some triplets.

Cool ! Thanks !

I think I might wanna get the book !

Even if it's more aimed at beginners like you said, can't harm, I think.

And usually the songs in Stetina's instructional book are very cool, too !:thu:
