Members gennation Posted October 14, 2008 Members Posted October 14, 2008 http://www.wyce.org Check out The End Times Orchestra live on the Internet! We'll play all originals except for maybe one cover (I'm told we'll be doing I am the Walrus). You'll get a mix of rock, jazz, glam, klezmer, modal, and other sounds you might be able to put your finger on. We'll play a set of music and give an interview promoting our up coming Halloween burlesque this weekend. I'll have a couple of wide open blowing solo's too along with some serious rhythm comp'ing. That's a tall order, I'm sure I'll fall flat on my face The band consists of singing, guitar, keys, drums, bass, trombone, trumpet, and maybe even viola and cello (I don't have the details on everything just yet). Make sure to tune in.
Members Virgman Posted October 14, 2008 Members Posted October 14, 2008 Not having luck finding it on there. Any suggestions?
Members gennation Posted October 14, 2008 Author Members Posted October 14, 2008 Hmmm, they got that big banner thingy there, don't they. Try this http://www.grcmc.org/radio/index2.php Then click Listen Online. It'll play through real player. You can listen to what they are playing now...IOW, our show we be live as in you'll be listening to us WHILE we are playing, not a recording. Plenty of opportunity for mistakes
Members mosiddiqi Posted October 14, 2008 Members Posted October 14, 2008 Cool!, look forward to it!..the time difference looks like I'll miss the live broadcast, but I'm going to try and record it...can I request that you do "I am the walrus" in a klezmer style?
Poparad Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Will it be available for listening afterwords? I don't get done teaching until 8pm.
