I've come up with

E...D...A...E for the Verse and

B........E

...B...D.A.E for the chorus

This is my first attempt at doing my own "transposing." The chords suit my voice, but I can't come up with suitable strumming patterns to work with them and have the right feel for the song.

There is very little guitar work in the original. I've tried just a single strum for each chord for the first two lines and it seems to work. I will also try and come up with a percusive intro of some sort. From there I'm open to suggestions for the body of the song.

I would love to here from anyone who has actually used an acoustic arrangement in a performance.

I can play maybe a half dozen tunes start to finish and not very well and not without the TAB in front of me.

I want to be able to do tunes that I can sing as well. I can sing in front of crowds over 100 but won't pickup a guitar in front of more then 1. That has to change or I will always only be a singer. No one goes to watch, let alone hire a guy to stand around and sing, but lots of people go to see a guy play acoustic and sing.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and for any help you can provide.

It's hard to explain in text. Whole note strums work for the beginning when the piano does the same thing in the song. Listen to the song for referance and just do what feels good. Follow what the piano does

I've been able to build something off the bass line ddduddudud which kind of works. It's 8th notes for the 1st two then 16ths. It'll take a while to work out by trial and error, but that's all I've got unless someone on here is familiar with it.
