Members rock_warrior Posted December 15, 2008 Members Posted December 15, 2008 I just learned the Charlie Christian solo for Rose Room and I am about to be on break so I wanted to know if any of the more experienced guys have any good jazz solos that I could get my hands on.

If you're at the point you're playing that kind of material, it would be best for you to figure out the leads you want to play yourself by ear.

My fingers are a lot better then my ears. I ignored my ears for so long and now I have to play catch up. Is there any semi-easy to figure out solos or tunes that you would recommend?

Get hold of Transcribe!..it's a really good piece of software for slowing down music and being able to isolate certain instruments, very easy to use..I think you get a free trial for 28 days...see if it helps.

TV and movie theme melodies might be a good beginning point.
