Members Celik Posted December 16, 2009 Members Posted December 16, 2009 Here is a cover to a song that was done by a band called Bijelo Dugme. They were formed in former Yugoslavia. I lived there and grew up listening to these guys. I hope you like it.

Members jeremy_green Posted December 18, 2009 Members Posted December 18, 2009 Its that Eminor harmonic thing followed by a little pull off lick. Its cool, nice playing man!
Members Mr.Bates Posted December 18, 2009 Members Posted December 18, 2009 It does have some severe influences from Roundabout... Good playing, but if you want to take it a couple of notches higher, then focus on dynamics... going from soft and gentle plucking to hard and vice versa... or from slow to fast. Change where you pick on the strings to get different sounds. And try to add vibrato to the long sustained notes and chords. A good excercise to all of the things I mentioned is to exagerate them just so you get the feel and the control under your fingers, and then you apply it to the music... makes it more emotional and moving, and will make you sound like a pro.You can also use your body and facial expression - watch tommy emmanuel or andy timmons or steve vai... All guitarists do it to some extent. It really comes out in the music.

Members Mr.Bates Posted December 18, 2009 Members Posted December 18, 2009 on that note, facial expression - dont overdo it or else youll look retarded. It might be a good idea to try it infront of a mirror or a video camera, before you do it for a crowd.John Mayer facial expressions are over done and look soooo not cool IMHO

Thanks man, i agree with everything you said. This particular peace i played lands its self nice to fingerpicking and probably my other nylong string guitar would have been a better choce just because i can do finger picking stuff on ther easier. The guitar in this video i got it last weekend and love it and i figure what the hell i'll play this and try it with a pick, and a little fingerpicking at the end.
