Members [Animals2] Posted June 25, 2010 Members Posted June 25, 2010 I was posting a reply to Mike's love of the Qchord in that spam thread, but that thread has mysteriously vanished. Apparently SOMEBODY didnt want us to know about the greatness of the Q chord. Since there is a conspiracy to keep us from knowing about this instrument, this thread is dedicated to the Q-chord. Mike I didn't realize you had aspirations of being Timbaland:)
Poparad Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 If you know what's good for you, you'll keep quiet. Otherwise we'll be sending The Man after you. Now go back to practicing your modes.

Members gennation Posted June 25, 2010 Members Posted June 25, 2010 The Q-Chord. Pure musical bliss for both the listener and the performer. Both a musician and non-musician can be a master as soon as they turn it on. It's that cool.
Members gennation Posted June 25, 2010 Members Posted June 25, 2010 so whats a mode then? Can I use them on a Q Chord? All you need to to do is put your finger down and it picks the best mode for you, and when you put your next finger down it will handle the modal interchange for you. Surprisingly not too many people know about this little wonder. I never did until a few years ago a friend of mine came in from Cali with one I was ranting and raving about it, and he's a non-musician. We pull it out, turned it on, and start doing the most simultaneous beautiful and maniac music I have ever heard. Then I played it, and it fricking played itself. My kids played it at levels of Mozart!!! I am not joking. The Q-Chord is the most amazing instrument you will ever play, ever, period.
Members [Animals2] Posted June 25, 2010 Author Members Posted June 25, 2010 i cant tell...does it have an out? running this into my m9 could get epic fast. edit:JACKS A/C Power In, 1/4" Line Out/Headphone, MIDI In, MIDI Out DAAAAMMMMMM
Members gennation Posted June 25, 2010 Members Posted June 25, 2010 Someone is selling one locally. I just made them an offer. If you go to youtube (just put in qchord) and watch what people are doing with it (with and especially without the song cards) you get an idea of how friendly to the ears AND fingers it is. In the main demo for it the guys says "you can't hit a wrong note". He is speaking gospel. It's the baddest instrument in the planet. I hope my offer goes through!!!
