Members pbass335 Posted October 13, 2010 Members Posted October 13, 2010 Hi, Forgive me if this appears twice - I tried posting earlier but can't find it. I'm looking for some basic instructional software for guitar (if such a thing exists). My students are primarily beginners to intermediates, 4th grade to adult; I teach individuals and small groups. I'm not looking so much for a method as I am resources - fingerboard diagrams, staves, chord diagrams (preferably blank), simple exercises and songs, etc. Anything I can dump into my computer and use to generate visuals for my students would be great. If anyone out there can steer me toward something like this, I'd be very grateful. Thanks, in advance, for your help. Bob

Members Stan31 Posted October 13, 2010 Members Posted October 13, 2010 For chord charts - check out http://www.chordie.com/chords.php. You said you're not looking for a method, but if you run into an issue with some students where they just don't seem to get it, or not able to do what you are asking them to do - check out http://www.guitarprinciples.com. It may very well help you improve your success rate, which in turn can translate to more new and repeat business. Best of luck!
